nostr.land terms

1. Services

You may not abuse the services, or use it for certain types of content. A fair use policy applies to keep the relay stable and fair.
  1. You may not abuse the Nostr.land services or attempt to harm Nostr.land, such as attempting to DoS the relay or spam.
  2. You may not use the Nostr.land services to store or disseminate following content:
    • CSAM
    • Spam or advertising
    • Sexually explicit content
    • Copyright-infringing material
    • Unauthorized sharing of PII
    • Storage of large non-Nostr blobs
  3. A Fair Use policy applies to services. In case your usage is found to be significantly disruptive to the services, we may:
    • Ask you to correct your usage of the services
    • Restrict your usage of the services to prevent further harm
    • Block or remove the disrupting usage of the services

2. Content

When submitting content to Nostr.land, you must ensure you have the rights to it, and you grant us certain rights to use your content.
  1. By submitting or importing your content to Nostr.land, you authorize that you have the legal rights to submit said content.
  2. When you submit content, you give Nostr.land a permanent, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, modify, transform, share or otherwise use the content.

3. Privacy

Nostr.land stores some information to prevent abuse. We also store limited information for performance monitoring.
  1. Nostr.land may keep logs and information such as your IP for the purpose of preventing abuse. This information is stored encrypted and is deleted when not necessary.
  2. We may store your IP and npub for an extended period of time, if we detect abuse on Nostr.land, to prevent future abuse.
  3. We may share information such as your IP address or public key with our partners to prevent abuse, if we detect abuse on Nostr.land.
  4. Nostr.land may keep limited logs for the purpose of performance monitoring.
    This information is kept separate from your identity whenever possible and contains only high-level information.

4. Account credits

  1. Account credits can only be used for Nostr.land services and may not be exchanged for real-world currency or for other purposes.
  2. Any account credits added to your Nostr.land account will expire after 1 year.
  3. If your account is terminated, all API credits will be immediately deleted.

5. Misc

  1. All payments are conducted via the Bitcoin Lightning network and are final. Refunds may be issued only at our discretion.
  2. Your access to the Nostr.land services may be terminated at any time, with or without refund, and without notice, at our discretion.
  3. If you are found violating the Terms of Service, your access to the Nostr.land services will be terminated immediately.
  4. If we detect that your account is used for the sharing of CSAM, we will share information such as your public key, IP address and similar with the relevant authorities.
  5. We may update the Terms of Service at any time. We will attempt to inform you of such an update whenever possible.
  6. By continuing to use Nostr.land after a change of Terms of Service, you agree to the new Terms.
